I am so excited to keep reading about Midnight Mayhem and even more excited that Amo's first MMF is up next. Amo really is the queen of plot twists, they always keep me on my toes. I couldn't believe some of the things that came out of the woodwork and yet it all made so much sense. The twists and turns in this book gave me some good whiplash. We also got to see some EKC characters again which was fantastic. Which is funny given the exact opposite was the case for Val in Havoc, who becomes a good friend to Sas in Mischief. I loved her in the first book, but I had a hard time wanting to even like her in this one. In this one we get a bit of a love triangle feel even though we know that Maya isn't really a threat to Killian's and Saskia's happily ever after. They're chaotic, unhinged, possessive and intense and I'm obsessed. Midnight Mayhem has my favorite overall cast from all of her series so far.

I am so captivated with this series (and Elite Kings) in part because while the book focuses on a couple, the other characters are found family and heavily featured. Both characters were really well done and made this an awesome listen. Throw in Midnight Mayhem madness with some wild twists and this story was sure to please. Killian and Saskia were amazing characters and I loved their chemistry and dynamics. I love all of Amo, but this one definitely ranks towards the top for me.

These two are magic as they pull the darkness alive, only shedding light when absolutely necessary. Price is full of attitude and keeps the vulnerability for Saskia. Williams has a voice that has a air of danger, giving Killian that edginess he has. The choice of Walker Williams and Michelle Price to narrate this gem is pure genius. This is a fantastic listen and she just leaves me wanting the next in this series. Its a wild ride that I could not put down and in true Jones fashion, she includes twists that are completely unforeseen. This story isn't just about the love of Killian and Saskia, but the history of the four families, the deceptions and betrayals. But there is is so much the two are about to learn.

Brought to the Midnight Mayhem, thinking she had to pay the debt of her parents, she quickly becomes the performer with the most acts! Killian is mysterious, but he has a draw to Saskia, and the dangerous chemistry they share is undeniable. This is book 2 in her Midnight Mayhem series and it continues to be as crazy as the first and a listen that should not be missed. She can create the darkest of romance, but I am completely on board, immersed in the incredible plot and the amazing characters. There is something to be said about the writing of Amo Jones.
